Cookie and Browser Storage Policy

This page explains the browser storage used by Cliptoid. Cliptoid is a free, browser-based tool and does not require an account to check a public TikTok post link.

Storage used by the web app

Cliptoid can register a service worker and cache selected app-shell files so the interface can load more reliably. This cache is managed by your browser and can be cleared through its site-data or storage settings. Cliptoid does not use this app-shell cache to store downloaded TikTok media.

The downloader processes the link you submit to request available post information from TikWM. The page may temporarily hold the link and returned result in memory while you use it. Your browser may also offer its own form history, download history, or autofill features; those are controlled by your browser.

Cookies and third-party services

Cliptoid does not currently serve Google AdSense ads or intentionally use advertising cookies. When you request a result, TikWM and media hosts may receive standard connection data, such as your IP address and browser details, under their own policies. Your hosting provider may also maintain technical logs needed to deliver and protect the site.

Third-party providers may use their own cookies or similar technologies. Cliptoid does not control those technologies. Review the privacy and cookie information published by the relevant provider and use your browser controls to manage or block cookies.

Your choices

You can clear site data, disable cookies, or limit browser storage in your browser settings. Some app features, such as offline loading, may work differently if you block or clear storage.
